B.A.T.-5 Seats
The other day I was looking at some photos of an Arnolt-Bristol Bolide and noticed that the seats looked familiar.

Since that car (photos at right) was designed at Carrozzeria Bertone by Franco Scaglione just before or at about the same time that he penned B.A.T.-5, the Arnolt bore a resemblance to the B.A.T., especially at the rear. I wanted to see if that resemblance extended to the seats, and that seems to be the case.

Whether Scaglione designed the seats himself or just bought the same off-the-shelf seats from a supplier, I don't know.

Here are some photos, below, of the Arnolt seats and the B.A.T.-5 seats. I think you'll agree that, barring stuffing differences, they seem to be from the same source.

(Right) These are the seats in B.A.T.-5.
They appear to be virtually identical to those
in at least one Arnolt-Bristol Bolide
(next photo down
).

(Right and bottom) Other Arnolt-Bristol Bolide seats
are very similar to those in the B.A.T.-5,
and the differences may be only in
the stuffing/padding.
