A Note About Brake Scoop "Twist"...
It should be noted that the plane of the screened face on original brake
scoops is twisted from top to bottom, as illustrated below. Accurate
reproduction brake scoops should replicate this twist. Look at the scoop
*01839* below. It is totally original, largely undamaged
and...twisted! Proper restorations of 1900CSS cars, as well as TI and
TI-Supers, need to include brake scoops, and the scoops need to have this
twist to look authentic.
